Relaxed Screenings

Sensory & Autism Friendly Cinema at The Light Redhill

Our relaxed screenings are designed to create a more sensory-friendly environment than typical cinema screenings.

To make these screenings more comfortable

  • the sound is turned down low
  • the lights are only dimmed, not turned off
  • the film will play without ads or trailers
  • guests are welcome to move around or change seats if they wish

What to expect from your visit

Our relaxed screenings are ideal to allow neuro-diverse audiences, those with sensory issues or learning disabilities, to enjoy the magic of cinema in a comfortable environment.

You can view our sensory journey booklet here, which you can print off or view online. You can see a drone video of the venue which can be viewed on our Accessible Cinema page. We also offer relaxed activity sessions, find out more here.
